ABSTRACT
Background: Based on Comparison survey who were doing in 3 BPM Bengkulu
City, Incidence of Mastitis Rate, BPM. F35 (34,3%) post partum mother with mastitis
from 102 people, BPM E19 (32,7%) post partum mother with mastitis from 60
people, BPM S20 (30,7%) post partum mother with mastitis from 123 people..
Objectives: implemented and improved the ability of author in handling midwifery
care in post partum mother with mastitis from appropriate with midwifery
management who was applied in midwifery care with SOAP method.
Method: Preparation of this Final Report used descriptive method with case study
type, conducted in BPM.F Pafar Dewa Bengkulu City, subject of case study was Mrs.
A with age of 19 years post partum mother with mastitis and implemented on August
2018.
Results: Midwifery care in post partum mother with mastitis on Mrs.A PI A0 age of
19 years in BPM.F Pagar Dewa Bengkulu city after the implementation of midwifery
care for 5 days obtained general condition was good, breastfeeding her baby,
temperature normal, normal breast condition, lession and pain decreased, did not
abses.
Conclusion: There is gap between theory and practice. In theory increasing
respiration 30 x/minute while in cases respiration 24x/minute.
